Prita Mohanty MD, is Assistant Professor in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. She completed her fellowship training in Pediatric Gastroenterology at University of Rochester Medical Center followed by fellowship in Transplant Hepatology at Boston Children's Hospital. She joined the UCSF faculty in 2017.

Dr Mohanty has been a recipient of various awards and travel grants. She was awarded the Department of Pediatrics Bradford Post-doctoral Fellowship award and the Dean's Fellow award at the University of Rochester Medical Center. She is a frequent presenter on issues related to Liver disease in children and liver transplantation, and holds membership in numerous professional and honorary societies. Dr. Mohanty specializes in Pediatric liver disease and transplantation.
